From the beginning, one of our top goals was to offer a product that was affordable for all teachers and schools. Even as we have evolved from a simple online gradebook to a sophisticated and comprehensive online student information management system, we have remained true to that goal.

We have been around since 2011 and plan to be around for many more years. In that time our service has been available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with only two service disruptions which were due to widespread power outages caused by major weather events. One of which was Super Storm Sandy.

iGradePlus is a web-based application that can be accessed from any computer or device with an Internet connection. It is compatible with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari, and Chrome web browsers on the Windows, Mac OS-X , and Linux operating systems. All data is stored on our servers.

We obsess over the design of our user interface trying to provide a highly customizable set of features in an easy-to-use, efficient, and intuitive design. Our interface has evolved quite a bit since our first release in 2011 as we are constantly trying to improve our product by incorporating as many user suggestions as we can for new features and improvements that make iGradePlus easier to use and to understand.

iGradePlus is a web-based application that can be accessed from any computer or device with an Internet connection. It is compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Vivaldi, Safari, Edge, and Internet Explorer web browsers on the Windows, Mac OS-X , and Linux operating systems.

While originally designed for K-12 teachers, iGradePlus's highly customizable nature allows it to be used by those who teach at other institutions as well. Many of our users are college professors, trade school teachers, and nursing school teachers who provide us with valuable feedback for features that make iGradePlus beneficial to a broad group of educators.

iGradePlus operates in accordance with The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). FERPA is a federal regulation that protects the privacy of the education records of students. iGradePlus enables customers to comply with their FERPA obligations when using our services. iGradePlus provides extensive printing options for all your gradebook data. Each page that contains data in your gradebook has a customizable printing function that allows teachers to select the data that they would like to print and to customize its format.

Use your data anyway you want. Export any and all gradebook data to text-based files for personal backups, to share with others, or to analyze using other software.

iGradePlus does not restrict an account to a certain number of gradebooks, classes, assignments, or students.

As intuitive as we try to make our interface, some things still need explaining; therefore, iGradePlus provides a comprehensive set of online help documentation that includes tutorials, key concept discussion, answers to frequently asked questions, and an individual help page for almost every page of our interface. All just a click away.

Our customer service is constantly being praised by our users for its responsiveness and helpfulness. No out-sourced call centers with inadequately trained personnel. All customer support emails are fielded by one of our team members who know the product inside-out.

iGradePlus uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to transfer data between your web browser and our server.

Possibly sensitive student profile data is encrypted before being stored in our database and only decrypted when retrieved from the database through your account.

We understand how valuable your data is and perform nightly data backups to local and remote data servers to be sure your data is never at risk of being lost even in the event of a catastrophic event at our facility.

We also preserve the nightly data backups for the past 30 days. If the unfortunate event occurs where you permanently delete something from your account by accident, we can restore your data from the previous day or as far back as 30 days.

All iGradePlus accounts keep a 30 day log of any activity occuring within your account including logins and any activity that modifies your account data. This allows you to see when data was modified if you suspect that your account might have been compromised.

If someone fails to successfully login to your account after a specific number of times your account will become suspended and can only be unlocked using the email address used to setup your account. This protects your account from brute force attacks where someone or something tries to guess the password to your account over and over.

While not required, we encourage all users to provide a valid email address as a means to protect their account using identify verification. Since email addresses are unique, assuming you do not share your email address with another person, using an email address to verify your identity to reset passwords or to unlock suspended accounts ensures that no one else can impersonate you and gain unwanted access to your account.

Like most other websites, iGradePlus will automatically log you out of your account if it doesn't detect any user activity after a specific amount of time.

Teachers and administrators can export account data to text-based files which can be stored on their own computers for additional peace of mind.

Subscription allows you to manage an unlimited number of students.

Extensive profile data for each student can be maintained including name, nickname, ID number, email address, phone numbers, mailing address, birthdate, gender, ethnicity, height, weight, eye color, hair color, skin tone, and any important notes regarding the student that may be pertinent to the student's wellbeing. In addition, teachers / administrators can add their own custom data fields to enhance the default fields already mentioned. Custom ethnicities can also be defined for student profiles.

Data for up to 4 parents or guardians can be stored for each student including name, email address, phone numbers, mailing address, relationship to student, and marital status. Automatically generated based on class rosters, the Student Schedule feature will allow teachers to see a student's weekly class schedule.

Track each student's grade for each grading period, class, and assignment category. Create grading period averages to calculate average grades for multiple grading periods and the overall year.

Student grade point averages are calculated automatically based on the student's overall grade for a class and the number of credits assigned to the class.

Custom student assessments allow teachers to define and report additional information about students' progress in each class for each grading period such as Effort, Listens Effectively, Works Well with Others, etc.

Track attendance for your students for each class or choose to track attendance for each student in your gradebook independent of classes. Use custom statuses to record absences and include detailed notes for each absence.

In addition to attendance tracking, iGradePlus also allows you to track student behavior in a similar manner using a behavior log. Behavior incidents are recorded for a student specifying a class, a date, a user-defined behavior status, and any detailed notes pertaining to the incident.

Student alerts will flag and notify you of certain conditions regarding a student such as missing assignments, low grades, and excessive absences. Alert conditions are completely customizable.

The Student Journal feature allows teachers to record and maintain detailed notes about a student.

Any documents pertaining to a student may be stored within the student's profile.

Keep track of when you contacted a student's parents or guardians along with detailed notes on why you contacted them with the parent contact log feature.

Subscription allows you to manage an unlimited number of classes.

Teachers and administrators can manage individual class rosters by assigning, removing, archiving, or transferring students to and from their classes.

Teachers and administrators can view and maintain class schedules in our individual subscriptions and administrators can view and maintain the full class schedule for a school in our school-based subscriptions.

The Lesson Planner feature will provide teachers with a tool for creating and maintaining lesson plans for their classes.

Record comments for each student in each class for each grading period pertaining to their performance. Comments can be included on custom reports such as report cards and progress reports or shared on student and parent web portals.

Class discussions allow teachers to post a question or topic for discussion that is visible to students via their portal account. Students can post answers or questions that the teacher or other students can respond to. Class discussions are similar to discussion forums that you find scattered about the internet.

Allows a gradebook in our individual subscriptions and a school year in our school-based subscriptions to be divided up into as many as 12 individual grading periods. Also allows user-defined names for grading periods such as Summer, Fall, etc.

Students' grades are tracked in iGradePlus via individual scores for assignments that are created for each class, category, and grading period.

Subscription allows you to manage an unlimited number of assignments.

Allow you to define one or more grade scales to use for reporting grades. Custom grade scales allow you to define up to 25 grade points which consist of a lower limit, a symbol, and a description. Different grade scales can be used for different classes.

Custom assignment categories allow you to separate your assignments into groups such as Classwork, Homework, Quizzes, Exams, etc. within a class and to optionally assign weights to each category for grade weighting purposes.

Assignment statuses are used to provide further detail about a student's performance on a particular assignment and finer level of control on how the assignment effects a student's overall grade.For example, an assignment status defined as Excused can be defined to not count an assignment score of zero against a student's overall grade. Or an assignment status of Completed Late can be defined to subtract 5 points off a student's score on that assignment.

Allows teachers to specify for each class and grading period how many assignment scores to drop for a student, if any, for low assignment scores. Various configurations are possible.

Our Custom Report Generator feature allows teachers and administrators to create and save report templates that can be used to generate all kinds of reports including grade reports, attendance reports, behavior reports, progress reports, report cards, or any combination of those. Generated reports are saved in your report history and can be viewed, printed, or emailed at anytime

Using saved report templates that you create and save, you can generate reports for one, some, or all of your students with just a few clicks of the mouse.

All reports you generate for your students are saved in your report history along with the date they were generated, the template they were generated from, title of the report, the classes that were included in the report, and the students the reports were generated for. Saved reports can be viewed, shared on student and parent web portals, printed, or emailed at anytime.

Generated reports can be printed at any time to allow you to send a hard copy of your reports home with students.

Our Custom Report Generator will allow you to email generated reports to students, parents, and administrators with a click of a button.

In addition to printing and emailing reports, reports can be viewed by students and parents via their web portals.

Student web portals allow teachers and administrators to share a variety of important information with students. Student web portals provide each student with an iGradePlus account that they can use to access information from multiple teachers including grades, assessments, teacher comments, assignment information and results, attendance and behavior records, event calendars, bulletin boards, and much more. Easy account setup and access allows students to login and view information from any computer with Internet access.

Parent web portals parents to view a variety of information shared by teachers and administrators for one or more students. Parent web portals provide each parent with a single iGradePlus account that they can use to access information for multiple students and multiple teachers including grades, assessments, teacher comments, assignment information and results, attendance and behavior records, event calendars, bulletin boards, and much more. Easy account setup and access allows parents to login and view information from any computer with Internet access.

We have integrated the Zoom service into iGradePlus that allows teachers to conduct video meetings with their students from inside the iGradePlus web app. Teachers can schedule Zoom meetings which appear in the student portals calendar and allow students to join those meetings from within the iGradePlus portal. Students do not need to have a Zoom account or install a separate application to participate in a class video meeting. All they need to do is click the meeting link in the portal and they'll be joined to the video meeting. It really makes the whole video meeting scheduling and participation process painless.

Class discussions allow teachers to post a question or topic for discussion that is visible to students via their portal account. Students can post answers or questions that the teacher or other students can respond to. Class discussions are similar to discussion forums that you find scattered about the internet.

The Student / Teacher messaging system will allow students and teachers to communicate with one another using their iGradePlus accounts. The messaging system will be very similar to texting apps and will allow students and teachers to send messages back and forth using our web application eliminating the necessity of email for simple one-to-one electronic communication.

Our Email features provide teachers with a rich text editor for composing and sending emails to students, parents, and other staff members. A single email can easily be sent to all students and/or parents for a specific class with little effort. Common features such as attachments, signatures, address book, saved drafts, and email history are also included. In 2018 we will introduce the concept of email templates which will allow teachers and adminstrators to create emails that can contain student specific data automatically inserted for each student.

Our Student / Parent Notification feature will automatically send emails to students and/or parents when user-defined events occur such as an absence, a missed assignment, or a class grade that falls below a specified threshold.

The Parent Contact Log will allow teachers and administrators to keep track of when a student's parents or guardians were contacted along with detailed notes on why they were contacted.

This feature allows teachers to attach documents to an assignment which can be downloaded by students and/or parents via their web portals.

This feature will allow students to submit documents for specific assignments via their web portal account. Combined with assignment attachments, iGradePlus can be used as a complete solution for remote classrooms or online courses.

Teachers can elect to share generated reports with student and parents via their web portals in addition to or in place of printing hard copies or sending them via email. Reports are preserved and can be viewed or printed at anytime by students and parents.

This feature will allow students and teachers discuss topics relevant to a specific class. The discussion will be open to all students to participate.

The Event Calendar feature allows teachers to keep students and parents informed of important event dates, times, locations, and details via their web portals. Attachments with supplemental information or documents relevant to the event can be attached to the event and downloaded by students and parents.

The Bulletin Board feature allows teachers to post bulletins that appear on student and parent web portals as reminders and notices for anything a teacher wishes to post. Bulletin boards list bulletins in chronological order with the latest bulletins shown first. Attachments with supplemental information can be attached to the bulletin and downloaded by students and parents.

This feature allows teachers to post daily or weekly descriptions of what students learned in class for the day or week keeping parents or students informed on what was covered in class.

This feature will help teachers schedule parent-teacher conferences and notify and remind parents of the conference date.
